The THESA Conference is a great opportunity to share your business with Home Economics Teachers across British Columbia! Home Economics education focuses on every day life education – food studies, textile studies, interpersonal relationships, child development, housing and living environments.
We are expecting over 200 teachers in person, and are offering a limited virtual conference for those unable to travel. This year’s conference is at LaSalle College international on Friday, October 21 2022.
We are offering 3 options for interested organizations:
Have your own virtual booth to promote your organization to Home Economics teachers. You can list items for purchase with direct links to your website, share information about programs or educational resources.
Each conference attendee receives a swag bag. As a conference supporter, you are providing an item for each of the swag bags (totaling 250). We’ll put your logo and direct link to your website on the conference page, as well as promote your donated items through THESA’s social media. It is a great opportunity to share your organization and products with each individual attendee.
Want to join us in person at LaSalle College? We have a limited space available for organizations to join us at the conference. Here you will have the opportunity to connect personally with Home Economics educators. To qualify for the resource room, you have educational materials available for free and at cost that connect to Home Economics education.
* Items must be received by the conference committee by August 30
There may also be an opportunity for you to present a workshop or seminar for our conference. Please apply under workshop proposals.
