BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation

BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that works to bring BC’s agriculture to over half a million teachers and students around the province. We want students to gain an appreciation for where food is grown or raised and an understanding of BC agriculture from farm to table. We work with many partners, ranging from farmers, to teachers, industry organizations, and government to develop and deliver quality resources and agriculture programs for schools. This is our website: www.bcaitc.ca

BC Dairy Association

BC Dairy Association is a non-profit association that supports community health through nutrition education. For over 30 years, our nutrition educators have helped make healthy eating achievable and fun. Our curriculum-connected programs and materials are developed by registered dietitians with expertise in education, and programs are assessed to ensure they meet learning outcomes. So, it’s no surprise that these materials really work to help people eat well! Teachers everywhere in BC can participate in professional development sessions, access colourful materials and use lesson plans to make nutrition come alive in the classroom. Come by the table to ask our dietitians your nutrition education questions, find out how to teach with the 2019 Canada's food guide, and learn more about nutrition issues affecting youth.
