Guatemalan Worry Dolls

In this workshop you will be making a Guatemalan worry doll. These little dolls are a great project for every student. They would work quite well for those students looking for a small project to complete in a short period of time. Once made they can be turned into a bookmark, key chain, zipper pull or adornment for backpacks. Great way to use up bits and pieces.

I was fortunate enough to be part of the Guatemalan trip organized by THESA. I would like to share some Guatemalan Recipes and cooking techniques with you. I have been teaching in School Disrrict#22 Vernon, for 28 years both as an Foods, Sewing, Family, Fashion and Culinary Arts teacher. I love to cook and share my skills with others, I also love to travel and would secretly love to eat my way around the world. I have spent over 20 of my teaching years in the Culinary Arts Program.
