Fashion Illustration

Fashion illustration is used as a creative way of sharing design ideas and a fashion illustration sketchbook is a wonderful addition to a students’ portfolio.

This hands-on/lecture workshop is an introduction to Fashion Illustration & can be used to teach Textiles 9 - 12 students the basics of fashion drawing, colouring, shading & blending techniques.  A croquis will be used as a template for easily drawing design ideas for garments. An overview of the differences between croquis used for film, theatre, movies, dance, children’s wear and fashion will be explained. Fashion Illustration offers an opportunity for textiles & fashion students to explore & expand their creativity.

No previous drawing skills required.
